CLIFF'S ADVENTURE CLUB

Join Cliff’s Adventure Club—your safe, low-impact way to explore Oregon’s Wild Rivers Coast. Our produced trails are ready-to-go mini-itineraries that blend outdoor activities with great eats, artist galleries, and must-see stops, so you can roam farther without the guesswork. Every route is built with stewardship and safety in mind: respect wildlife, stay on signed paths, pack it in/pack it out, and check tides, river conditions, weather, and fire restrictions before you go. Whether you’ve got an hour or a full day, choose a trail that matches your time, interests, and ability—and adventure responsibly so these places stay wild and wonderful for everyone.

Plan Ahead

Plan ahead—coast weather and road conditions can change quickly. Check Oregon TripCheck for highway cameras, closures, and chain and fire restrictions before you roll.

Expect microclimates: winter (Nov–Mar) brings frequent storms, big surf, and heavy rain—think waterproof layers, non-slip footwear, and a warm hat and gloves. Spring (Apr–Jun) swings between showers and sun; pack a breathable base layer and a rain shell. Summer (Jul–Sep) is cool on the shoreline (50s–70s°F) with morning marine layer and afternoon wind; inland redwoods run warmer—bring a windbreaker, light puffer, and sun protection. Fall (Sep–Oct) is often the calmest, clearest season with crisp nights—ideal for layered clothing.

Year-round: download offline maps (cell service can be spotty), check tides and sneaker-wave advisories, verify park/forest fire rules, carry water and snacks, and reserve campsites when you can. Please practice Leave No Trace, keep dogs leashed where posted, and NEVER turn your back on the ocean.
